Captain Chris – Self Defense Guru Promotes Safety for All

You are walking through a poorly lit parking garage late at night after another long day at the office.  You are focusing on a hot meal and a good night's sleep.  Suddenly you feel a hand over your mouth, an arm around your throat, and hot breath whispering in your ear, "Don't scream!"  You can feel the tip of a knife pressed to your throat and you are frozen in fear.    He grabs your purse and the car keys dangling from your shaking hands, and as he races away with your car you are left in a crumbled hysterical mess on the floor.

However, Captain Chris Pizzo, owner and founder of Close Combat Training, says this type of scenario can be handled swiftly, deftly, and successfully if you follow the easy instructions in his set of DVDs.  Encounters like the one above, he contends, could easily result in overcoming your opponent and leaving him the crumbled hysterical mess – all within a few moments.  Providing, of course, you follow his program and practice the moves as outlined in his top selling set of DVDs.

Pizzo is a big believer in self defense, having studied every form of martial arts and hand to hand combat known to man.  For the past thirty years he has researched every facet of self defense and how science and physiology contribute to the success of any one particular method.

The simplified methods that Captain Chris extols in his video training program are based on his philosophy that everyone should be able to handle themselves in a panic situation without needing to use or rely on weapons.

His program is a direct result of an attack on him and his wife as armed car-jackers forced them off the road.  They were pulled at knife point from their car, dragged to the ground, and were seconds away from being literally stabbed to death before a police cruiser happened by to quall the situation.

Pizzo had already been wracked by cancer and chemo treatments and found it almost impossible to defend himself and his wife.  As he watched his attacker position his knife for the kill, all he could think of was there had to be a way for anyone, no matter how big or strong, to successfully defend himself.

And Close Combat Training was formed.  Captain Chris promises customers that if they simply watch the DVDs and then copy his moves they, too, will be able to turn any attacker into a quivering lump of jelly with some wide arm and leg movements, which, in a moment of panic, is just about all Mother Nature allows us to accomplish.

Regardless of the number of happy customers, Pizzo has had his share of bad publicity as well.   The recent close combat training scam occurred because a large number of customers were unhappy about receiving what they thought were unordered and unwanted vitamin supplements that came with the DVDs.  To compound the problem, they were charged monthly for shipments they couldn't seem to stop.

Pizzo reacted immediately to the allegations in the close combat training scam by stopping the program altogether, although he says all the information needed for his customers to cancel these shipments was readily available on his website.  

The scam and bad press has dwindled and Captain Chris continues to help people learn fast and easy methods to successfully fend off attackers with their bare hands.

Why do i turn purple when i drink Liquor, mainly captain?

My skin turns purple and i get itchy. It usually starts in the face then the shoulders and spots on other parts of the skin such as arms.

you could be allergic to it. I get it with vodka but everything else is fine.
